Good.

Totally disrespectful to Condit to be put right back into a fight with Diaz. Condit schooled Diaz with a great game plan, unrelenting self discipline and exceptional technique. I was incredibly impressed by Condit and it was interesting to watch the UFC announce team warm to his strategy over the course of the fight.

Whether he was moving forward or backward, Condit was the one in the fight who enforced his will and controlled where virtually every engagement took place. Octagon control doesn’t only mean plowing forward. It means fighting your fight. Condit did that exceptionally well and showed some of the best kicking skills I’ve seen in an MMA contest.

I’m a big fan of both the Diaz boys but if Nick truly can’t understand why he lost the bout maybe he is better off retiring because the sort is passing him by even while he is at his peak… Nick’s got all the skills in the world and no lack of physical toughness but if he and his coaches can’t counter a good game plan, those assets won’t count for much.
